Chrysler Paint Code Locations
plus AMC / Rambler / Jeep
Chrysler puts their paint code information on a decal or metal tag. Most newer Chrysler products will have the tags located in the drivers side door jamb or under the hood. Older Mopars have a metal tag screwed onto the drivers side inner fender under the hood. Older Jeeps are usually on the cowl. Here are some examples:
2004 Chrysler - Located on the spare tire cover in the trunk.
1997 Chrysler Intrepid - Located in the drivers side door jamb.
1987 Jeep CJ7 - Located on the cowl under the master cylinder.
1987 Jeep Cherokee - Located on the cowl.
1971 Dodge - Located on the drivers side inner fender under the hood.
1971 Chrysler - Located on the drivers side inner fender under the hood.
1967 Willys Jeep - Located on the cowl.
1966 Dodge - Located on the drivers side inner fender under the hood.
1961 Chrysler - Located on the drivers side inner fender under the hood.
1965 Rambler - Located on the drivers door in the jamb.
1957 Chrysler - Located on the drivers side inner fender under the hood.
